Frequently Asked Questions
Photo
Restoration, Colorization, and Editing FAQ
Q:
My photo is severely damaged, can you still
restore it?
A:
Possibly. I would need
to see the photo to determine if it can be repaired
and the cost. Please
e-mail any photo you have a question about to
pencilsandpixelsart@yahoo.com for a free quote.
|
Q:
I don't see what I want listed on your site,
are there other options?
A:
Yes! There are millions
of editing options for photos. Please
e-mail the photo and details of your special
request to pencilsandpixelsart@yahoo.com, and
I will give you a free quote. |
Q:
My picture is small, can you still work with
it?
A:
It will depend on the
quality of the photo. If the
photo is hard copy and very clear, I may be
able to scan it at a high resolution and then
edit it. However, if the photo is digital, and
low resolution, it may not be possible to edit
it or print from it. Please
send the photo to pencilsandpixelsart@yahoo.com
so I can look at it and determine if it will
work. |
Q:
Can I tell you what colors to use in colorizing
my photo?
A:
Yes, within reason.
I will be happy to try to match clothing, hair,
eye color, and skin tone to what you specify.
It is very helpful if you have a color picture
of the person (even if they are pictured older
or younger) to accompany the black and white.
I can then use that photo as reference and match
their skin tone,etc. Please contact
me for a free quote. |
Q:
How much does it cost to have my photo both
repaired and colorized?
A:
It depends on the damage
to the photo, and the number of figures/objects
to be colorized. Please
contact me for a free
quote. |
Q:
If you repair and colorize my photo, can I have
both the black and white and colored version
of the finished photo?
A:
Yes. I
will be happy to send you both versions. |
Q:
What formats can I get my finished photo project
in?
A:
I can convert your photo
to just about any format you specify. The
most popular formats are Photoshop and JPEG. |
